In 1987, we took on the challenge of entering the field of orthopedic medical device market based on our metalworking technology cultivated through the development of marine propellers, to deliver high-quality products suitable for Japanese people. Since then, we have faced head-on the serious responsibility of creating products that will function in patients' bodies for a long time, progressively evolving while firmly keeping in mind the fact that each of our products plays an intimate role in the lives of patients.

In 2015, Teijin Limited has invested in Nakashima Medical Co., Ltd., leading to the establishment of Teijin Nakashima Medical Co., Ltd.
This new structure brought together the different strengths of these two companies to ensure our steady growth and bring the joy of mobility to many patients.

In June 2025, ceasing to be a consolidated subsidiary of Teijin Limited and we embarked on a new path as NAKASHIMA HEALTHFORCE CO., LTD.
Our new company name is a statement of our determination to evolve into a healthcare company that contributes to improving quality of life (QOL) in the field of orthopedics by further refining our core competencies in R&D and manufacturing.

We see these times of uncertainty as times of opportunity.
We will continue to move forward without ceasing to take on new challenges, while identifying what changes, what does not change, and what needs to be changed, and integrating new diversity and values into the technologies and aspirations that we have cultivated.
